The University will continue to subsidize dependent health premium costs for the 2008 calendar year at established amounts. This subsidy is reflected in the rates above.

Please note that these premiums are based on a 12-month pay schedule. Rates for employees paid over 9 months will be pro-rated accordingly.

This plan provides no subsidy for those selecting the Health Savings Account. However the University is providing the following amounts for 2008 into the employee’s HSA: $750 per year for Individual; and $1,500 per year for family coverage. The employee may also elect to place additional funds into the savings account.
