This position will assist with audio visual needs including but not limited to installation, inventory, operation, and repair of all types of audiovisual, video, and sound equipment. The focus will be upon technology installed in teaching classrooms. Some after-hours work may be required.
Required qualifications include an associate’s degree or equivalent from a
two-year college or technical school and at least one year of related experience
and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience);
thorough knowledge of audio and video system set up and maintenance; experience
with video production performing taping, audio recording, lighting, etc.; strong
working knowledge of industry standard formats and equipment with the operation
of classroom technology, data projectors, laptops, closed-circuit television,
etc.; the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies; must possess strong
interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to work as a member of a
service-oriented team.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with editing techniques and
software.
