Human Resources would like to announce that the latest edition of the Sources newsletter is now available online. A printed version will no longer be distributed except as requested. Any feedback to our office will be appreciated.
Medical Leave Bank Open Enrollment
The enrollment for the Medical Leave Bank is open though June 30th. We are
asking that all eligible employees respond to the enrollment even if they do not
wish to join the Medical Leave Bank. To accept or decline membership, please
visit TruView at http://truview.truman.edu/,
log-in and click on the enrollment link under the “Staff” tab. Current members
will need to enroll if they wish to continue membership in the Bank.
For new members or members that need a refresher, we have scheduled
presentations on the Medical Leave Bank throughout the month of June to provide
an overview and answer any questions that you may have concerning the Bank. You
may register for any of the classes at
http://hr.truman.edu/register/classlist.asp.
Meet Our New Employees
Greg Brown, Physical Plant
Greg joined the Physical Plant staff on April 21st. He is married to Tamara and enjoys fishing and woodworking.
John Gardner, Residence Life
John joined the Residence Life staff on June 5th. He has a Master’s degree in Education from Iowa State University. John enjoys golf and video games.
Mandie Gochnour, General Counsel's Office
Mandie joined the General Counsel’s Office staff on March 17th. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning. Mandie enjoys running and reading.
Ryan Nourse, Athletics
Ryan joined the Athletics staff on April 7th. He has a M.A. in Education from Morningside College.
Dorothea Shipman, College of Arts & Sciences
Dorothea joined the College of Arts & Sciences staff on April 9th. She is a graduate of Collinsville High School. Dorothea enjoys spending time with her family.
Stacy Tucker-Potter, Advancement
Stacy joined the Advancement staff on March 25th. She has a M.A. in English from Truman. Stacy enjoys reading and music.
Louis Veatch, Physical Plant
Louis joined the Physical Plant staff on June 2nd. He is married to Kathy and enjoys target shooting.
Norman White, Communication
Norman joined the Communication staff on April 14th. He has an Associate’s degree from Electronics Institute. Norman enjoys hunting.
