MOSERS and CitiStreet Visit Campus
On April 15th and 16th, representatives from MOSERS and CitiStreet will be on campus to provide presentations on the MOSERS Retirement Plan and the Section 457 Deferred Compensation Plan offered by CitiStreet. Fox Lawson Visit
Dr. James C. Fox, Fox Lawson & Associates, will be here on campus to present his findings and recommendations on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 10:00 and 2:00 at VH1000 for staff. Staff Classification and Compensation Study
A Steering Committee for the study will be working with and outside consultant, Fox Lawson & Associates, a Minnesota –based company selected to perform the staff classification and compensation plan study for the University. Fox Lawson & Associates specialize in classification and compensation analysis in public sector organizations throughout the country. The consulting firm has performed approximately 500 studies that are similar to the requirements of Truman State University.
The consultant has been asked to develop a staff classification and compensation plan that:
- Ensures a fair, sound and systematic approach to wage and salary administration;
- Recognize job performance;
- Offers career development to qualified employees;
- Is readily understood and easily administered; and
- Allows for ongoing, continuous change in line with market trends.
Medical Leave Bank for Staff
The Medical Leave Bank was approved by the Board of Governors during the February 2007 meeting.
Mandatory Direct Deposit
As part of Truman's Paperless Pay Initiative, direct deposit will be mandatory for all new hires effective February 1, 2006.
