Truman State University recognizes the efforts made by its faculty and staff and values contributions made by all employees. Employees are recognized annually for years of service.
Six Points of Excellence awards are presented to staff members and two Bulldog awards are presented to departments based on nominations submitted to Staff Council.
The Advancement Office, through the generosity of donors, sponsors two employee awards. Recipients are chosen by a committee based on nominations submitted throughout the year.
