Their shade tree discussions during Truman Week are a prime example of professional staff being intentional about how to train student staff — resulting in deep, rich conversations with new students that enhance the overall Truman experience and ensure that all students feel welcome. Excellent customer/student service is a hallmark of the Res Life team. The professional staff spends lots of time with parents who are stressed about the transition their child/student is making to college and the Res Life team has to navigate these very tumultuous waters – and they do so with a smile, patience and grace.”
