Joe Hamilton — Work Performance

“Joe often works during University breaks to provide training opportunities for faculty and staff, and moreover, he is always available to consult with faculty and staff related to student concerns throughout the year. Joe seeks out multiple opportunities to enhance his skills to better serve students at Truman. He is often on-call for evening and weekend hours and as a resource for other counselors when they are on-call.”

William Nelsen — Service to Students

“As Interim Director of Residence Life this past year, William has stepped into a challenging and demanding role. He has embraced this new responsibility knowing that his commitment was still unchanged — to serve the students through creating a community where each student has the ability to feel welcome and successful. He has maintained a sense of humor, strong work ethic and dedication to his Residence Life team.”

Jenni Nuhn — Service to Students

Blake Pigg — Truman Values

Groundskeeper Blake Pigg was recognized for his efforts to ensure a tree planted in memory of a Truman alumnus was properly marked. “It may seem like a small thing to a lot of people, but it means the world to me and my family that this was done … I feel that Blake went over and above his duties to meet our needs, and his actions reflect Truman values and exceptional customer service.”
