Truman State University offers a wide range of benefits to eligible faculty and staff. The University has contracted with the following companies to provide benefits to eligible employees:

• UniCare: Medical and Pharmacy benefits
• Delta Dental of Missouri: Dental benefits
• Spectera: Vision benefits
• Standard Insurance Company: Life (basic, additional, and dependent), Long-term disability, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment

For the 2008 plan year (January 1 through December 31, 2008) Truman State University will provide a benefit allowance of $419.86 per month (or $5,038.32 annually) to each eligible employee. This amount is sufficient to provide the following plan elections for the employee only at no cost to the employee:

• Health Plan A, Employee Only
• Dental Plan B, Employee Only
• Vision Plan A, Employee Only

The benefit allowance is applied to health premiums first. Additional dependent coverage is available at an additional premium amount.
